For stag weekends Liverpool has the ultimate adrenaline centre

For those looking to mix adrenaline sports with great nightlife on your stag weekend, Liverpool is a perfect option. We have the perfect stag activity partner for those looking to add some friendly competition and banter to their weekend.

Just under an hour away from Liverpool City Centre is a sprawling 200-acre estate dedicated to outdoor activities. With experienced staff on hand and top quality facilities, this activity centre set in the Cheshire countryside is the perfect place to kick-start Liverpool stag weekends. You can sample quad biking, air rifling, archery, clay pigeon shooting and paintballing. And what’s more – it’s all under one roof (well, out in the open fields and belonging to the same company!) and so you don’t have to stop at one activity if you want an action-packed day.

So what’s involved in each of these activities for Liverpool stag weekends?

A great option for those with a keen eye, steady hand and quick reactions. You may watch Jack Bauer and think you could shoot the bulls-eye – why not put your money where your mouth is with our Liverpool air rifling option?

You will be tutored in small groups by a friendly instructor, who will give you some helpful advice, safety precautions and instruction, before you get to test your sniper skills on a range of targets over a range of distances.

Competitions will be run and trophies are available for the winning team!

Archery

Think you could rival Jon Snow from Game of Thrones? See if you could have survived with the old-fashioned method of hitting your target! Be tutored in the old-fashioned method of and crossbow options. Again, competitions will be run and trophies can be available for the winning team. To find out more, select our Liverpool archery option.

Quad biking

Remember how we mentioned the stunning 200-acre estate earlier? Now, we imagine you won’t be too bothered about a romantic stroll to take in the scenery but the enourmous estate is just perfect for a 9 mile journey Liverpool quad biking challenge.

Everyone loves a good paintball fight on a stag weekend! Liverpool’s nearby activity centre offers a 12-acre woodland valley paintball site which makes it perfect paintballing course with villages, bunkers, forts, bridges and trenches to help you as you decide how to take out the other team. With top end armour and 300 paintballs, this is a great option for a stag weekend. Liverpool nightlife’s awaits you though – so better make sure you win and bruise the other team in combat instead!

Key to Liverpool stag weekends is getting some banter (or craic) going with some friendly competition and these activities are sure to help.

Liverpool Fixtures Are Released - Impact on Stag and Hens Planning Parties

Liverpool Fixtures Released - Impact For Planning a Stag or Hen Party!
Unfortunately it is that time of the year again where the fixtures for next season's Premier League campaign have been announced. As usual we have had a look at them and are getting you the info you need when planning your Liverpool Stag Party or Liverpool Hen party between August 2012 and May 2013.
You may ask what the impact of the Premier League and indeed Liverpool's fixtures are? Well put simply when Liverpool are playing at home at Anfield the hotels and some apartment complexes in the city centre know that automatically they will fill with the influx of football fans and therefore increase prices and institute larger minimum stay requirements than normal.
Stag and Hen Liverpool can combat this with its relationships with a number of accommodation providers  but due to demand are not always able to offer city centre accommodation and as a result our advice is where possible avoid a weekend where Liverpool are playing at home when picking the dates for your Liverpool Stag Weekends or Hen Weekends in Liverpool.
You can find our dates on our Stag, Hen and Mixed accommodation pages but we also include them below. (NB the Merseyside Derby is included as despite it being played at Everton it still causes the same issue)
If you have any questions or enquiries be they about these weekends or not then do get in touch and we can talk you through your best options on email or over the phone.

Walkabout Liverpool Gets Refurb And Staff Increase

Walkabout Liverpool in Concert Square Gets a Refurb

One of Stag and Hen Liverpool's favourite places to party in Liverpool is at Walkabout Liverpool in the city's famous Concert Square nightlife area. We recently were invited to its reopening after a £750,000 refurbishment has transformed it into a stunning aussie themed Liverpool Stag Night and Liverpool Hen Night party venue!

One of the founder members of the party scene at Concert Square in Liverpool, The Walkabout had started to show its age so it is great to see that the owners have gone ahead and following a brief closure in May spent £750,000 in refurbishing the inside of the venue to provide a Stag and Hen Party wonderland across two floors, outside terrace and beach bar.

It has also seen the venues staff more than double to 66 and that is positive news for Liverpool and for your Liverpool bound stags and hens as more than ever there is a focus on swift, effective customer service whilst you are in having an awesome time. It also means more entertainment for those all important Liverpool Stag and Hen Nights out! Watch out for the stage where you can get up to some proper hijinks.

The top floor of the venue now has the beach bar, outside terrace and dance floor to overlook the main area of the venue the downstairs huge bar and dance floor and the DJ perches above it all pumping out the tunes! Check out the images we took on the launch night on our Facebook page.

walkabout liverpool bar blog

Currently we offer Q jump entry to the venue either on its own or as part of our Liverpool Q Jump Passes for Stags and Hens but we are currently working with the venue to add in nightlife packages that even include the new VIP area and booths. So exciting times for a popular night time venue that all you stags and hens can enjoy!

Any questions or to book get in touch with us and we can happily sort you out

If your group has any special dietary requirements beyond vegetarian we can cater options for you meaning you needn't worry about anyone not being able to enjoy a meal at the venue and your table is even decorated to celebrate that special occasion.

Check out our hen testimonials page and in particular what Laura and Her Hens thought for an example of previous client impressions of a meal at What's Cooking

"Laura and Hens - April 2012 4* Luxury Apartment Accommodation, Yellow Duckmarine, What's Cooking Meal and Hen Q Jump Passes Hi Mike,
We had an absolutely fabulous weekend. The apartments were gorgeous, I would definately stay again. The girls on reception couldn't do enough for us, even helping carting our online food shopping order into the lift for us and dealing with another group of girls who kept walking across our balcony. The Duckmarine was brilliant except for when it broke down for a short time, but to be honest this all added to the fun of the trip!

The meal at Whats Cookin was also brilliant! They also had another large hen party in at the same time and did so well to cater for us both at the same time. I was a bit worried about the exceptions I had made to the menu for a few people but I was more than pleasantly surprised when all the orders came out just right.
We actually chose not to use the nightlife passes in Concert Square in the end. We had a mixture of ages throughout the weekend and everyone was really quite tired from Friday night (we stayed in the apartments and had a cocktail party) so we just went to a few bars around the docks which ended up in another late night
Thank you so much for arranging such a memorable weekend. I will try and send some photos through for you, I've not seen them all yet so I'll pick out some of the best ones.
Regards,
Laura"
